About This Beer
New York State Craft Brewing Competition silver medal winner!
Aurora Brewing crafted it with a combination of light, dark, and smoked malts, then added a splash of local maple syrup during the secondary fermentation.
Tasting Notes
Crisp sips balance roasty tones with sweet notes of pancake bliss. A whisper of woodsmoke laced through pumpernickel and coffee nuances gives this cool crusher the character of a winter morning.

so I don’t think this will be for everyone. it’s a dark lager, with that smokiness. the maples there. I don’t find it overwhelming but I dig maple in beers more than most. I wish I had more lol!

It had a really good maple syrup flavor alongside a Smokey finish, with just a tiny little bit of spice mixed in there. A lot going on here and it really works well.

it’s okay. lagers aren’t my favorite, but I like smoky beers so I wanted to give it a try. the maple doesn’t seem to mesh well.
I had a 2nd can and it was much better.

Definitely lots of smoked flavors from the malts. Not much maple can be discerned.
