A Note on This Beer
You know Dasher and Dark Charge and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid and Donner and Braxton,
But do you recall,
The most famous barrel-aged bundle of all?
Today’s 3-pack sleighs. It includes a variety of rich, roasty Imperial Stouts that Braxton Brewing wrapped up nicely in Kentucky bourbon barrels for a whole year!
Fans wait all year for the extremely-limited, seasonal variants of Braxton’s signature Dark Charge Stout, and you get a shot at THREE of them –– all before locals! Not to mention, two are 100% exclusive to Tavour! That means it’s completely up to you who joins in any rein-beer games this year!
But it’s the season of giving, and if you do decide to share — you’ll go down in history. Here’s why:
Dark Charge - Bourbon Barrel Aged - 12.5% ABV
The original recipe that launched the Dark Charge fandom and the base for all of today’s variants, this Imperial Stout is big, boozy, barrel-aged opulence! Notes of dark chocolate and coffee swirl through the obsidian pour. It’s punctuated with whispers of oak and vanilla from the barrel.
Sip after sip, you’ll feel like a cozy stocking hung with care over a lit fireplace. It’s the kind of beer Brewbound calls “a celebration of superior craft” and a base for variants that “push the boundaries of the craft beer industry.”
Dark Charge Cinnamon Roll - 12.5% ABV
Every swig of this velvety variant is like a bite out of a bourbon-glazed cinnamon roll fresh from the oven! Currents of luscious vanilla and spice cascade into rivers of rich mocha. Notes of whiskey sweetness carry underneath like caramelization on the bottom of a sugary pastry.
To craft it, Braxton took Dark Charge and rolled it up with cinnamon sticks and Madagascar vanilla beans for mouthwatering layers of can’t-miss deliciousness.
Dark Charge Tiramisu - 12.5% ABV
Espresso roast coffee, Madagascar vanilla beans, and cocoa nibs transform this Dark Charge into a luxurious slice of tiramisu. Decadent dark chocolate covered coffee beans carry through every quaff. Streams of vanilla latte and java chip ice cream splash across the palate with wisps of woody spice lingering after.
A delicious pairing with any holiday sweet, this brew is great to bring along to any get together. But let’s be real, there’s no pairing necessary — this sipper doubles as dessert and after-dinner drinks!
