A Note on This Beer
This is the first Stout we’ve been able to spirit away from YaYa Brewing!
And, that’s HUGE. Before opening their Spokane, Washington brewery in September 2019, YaYa founders (and brothers!) Chris and Jason Gass learned the art of craft from some of the very best microbreweries in the game – Foundation, Battery Steele, and Austin Street, to name a few!
YaYa’s fan base grew quickly, and their success has helped spur a wave of new breweries throughout the region.
Though, until today’s Dark Nova Coconut Milk Stout, we’d only had a small taste of their brewing prowess. Now, we’re certain there’s no limit to their talents!
Grab a sip of your own, and you’ll realize we’re not kidding around! This 8.5% ABV obsidian treat brims with chocolate-dipped macaroon deliciousness, thanks to cocoa and coconut added post-fermentation.
It sips down velvety smooth, too, from the creamy lactose in the base.
Local taster @Chase C. isn’t holding back about the Stout’s charms: “This is goooooood! SUPER balanced for a coconut stout. Not overly sweet at all, just enough coconut to let you know it’s there...it’s silky smooth, baby!”
