About This Beer
The Forgotten Road crew took a roasty Imperial Stout and triple barrel aged it — first for 21 months in bourbon barrels, then for a year in apple brandy casks, and finally for 5 months in rye whiskey barrels. That’s a colossal 38 months maturing in oak!!
Tasting Notes
This 8 oz can delivers a rich, cocoa-y sipper with wisps of caramel apples, vanilla pudding, and roasty barrel char. And it all finishes with a toffee-tinged whiskey finish that hints at the brew’s massive 14.2% ABV.

I love a strong beer in a small can. Apple brandy is the dominant flavor, giving this a warming taste of apple pie

not a fan. all of their beers have a bitter, dirty aftertaste.
