A Note on This Beer
Nothing says outdoor drinking like a Kölsch. And nothing says you know your stuff more than cracking open the #1 rated Kölsch on all of Tavour!
To craft this chart topper, the brewers started with a traditional base of pilsner and kölsch malts fermented with a fruity Ale yeast. Then they delicately hopped it with Sterling and Hersbrucker.
Soft, bready nuances of toasted sourdough pretzels lead with a spritz of citrus just behind. Floral flourishes waft underneath, gliding into tones of lemongrass before a refreshingly snappy finish.

Unlike classic true Kölsch beers (Gaffel, Sünner, Reissdorf, Früh, etc.), this is unfiltered and cloudy with a heavier taste. It’s much more bready and ale-like than classic Kölsch – perhaps to distinguish it more clearly from the lagers for which Heater Allen is so famous.

solid beer. a great one for a hot day and a sandwich. definitely has a tart/bitter finish, but it’s not unpleasant. loved the malty aftertaste, and tbh I love the cans design
