About This Beer
To craft Daybreak, the Wolf Ridge crew brewed a pre-prohibition style Cream Ale with barley and corn for a smooth, crisp, clean sipper. Then they infused it with local, light roast coffee beans and brightened it with swirls of vanilla.
Tasting Notes
Creamy cascades of cold brew coat the palate with each sip. Luscious vanilla and caramelly malt carry through, a light crème brûlée accent. Velvety, café flavor gives way to bready sweetness before a crisp finish.

I was hoping there would be more of a heavier coffee flavor

Kind of like a light coffee beer, goes down very easy with a respectable coffee flavor

Tastes like cold brew coffee poured into a glass that was recently used for a nice cream ale. Not at all in a bad way!

You want a blonde coffee? Here you go. This tastes awesome.

Super light easy drinking beer with just the right refreshing notes of a high quality cold brewed coffee. Was surprised how great this was.

A light vanilla flavored coffee ale, very refreshing

Meh. This style has been done so much better, so many times before, it's hard to forgive the brewers for not aiming higher.

Nice, smooth, cream ale. Subtle coffee notes. I like it. Coffee softens the typical sweetness of a cream.

Wasn't a big fan. Definitely tasted like coffee and the color was intriguing

Extremely refreshing and I claim this as one of my favorites! Super creamy and you can really taste the coffee and vanilla! The first thing I could smell was the coffee. Well done! I need more!!!

I’ve discovered through Tavour that cream ales aren’t for me. This is just a boring beer IMO. Getting coffee and vanilla notes, however.

Loads of coffee in the smell and flavor. Not much else though. Not very balanced. Harsh around the edges

It's a good one, I've had cream ales that were better and I've had coffee ales that were better. This one is inoffensive and I liked it a lot.

Nicely balanced between the bright coffee notes and the cream ale base. Indeed, it reminds me of an iced coffee with just a tish of cream. Sometimes golden coffee ales can taste a bit acidic (my SO says they taste like the smell of pee), but this one is refreshing!

Thing I enjoyed the most about this light ale was the deep coffee flavor. A great beer for coffee lovers.

I gotta stop drinking coffee beers at night! But this one is SO GOOD. This lighter color beer tricks the mind when you think “coffee”, but all the flavors are there.

The flavor pulls off the ice coffee character. Coffee, cream, vanilla, and light bitterness. Not a novelty at all. I could drink this with my eggs and bacon in the morning. It works!

Not my personal favorite, but I had to try it.

Didn't really taste like ice coffee to me

This wasn't my favorite but it is a smooth cream ale.

coffee and vanilla in a cream ale needs to be more of a thing.

Was very excited for this one and in the end I dumped it and am sad that I have another can of it. Like ale, like coffee, but not done well together.

Refreshing..light in body and coffee bitterness..rounded with a mid to late creamy vanilla finish..it needs to sit in your mouth a little before chugging down...nice job!!
