About This Beer
To craft this obsidian elixir, the brewers blended barrels of their signature Double Dark Ale and their beloved Barleywine that had collectively aged for 44 months in a mix of Willett bourbon barrels, Calumet Farm bourbon casks, and Sazerac rye whiskey barrels.
Tasting Notes
We haven’t had the pleasure of trying this opulently aged stunner yet, but we’re anticipating rich dark chocolate tones mingling with caramelly espresso and chewy date notes on every thick swig. Hints of vanilla oak and whiskey caramel should add woody complexity, further obscuring an enormous 17.9% ABV.

Phenomenal!!!! Only dead space I found was my empty glass! You go down a dark smooth road w minimal sweetness. You can feel the heat but no alc bite! Put it my buy again queue!
