About This Beer
To craft this sumptuous treat, the Moonraker crew started with a rich base aged for 18 months in a variety of bourbon barrels, including some from friends at Old Trestle. Then they conditioned it on cacao nibs, orange zest, and vanilla beans for all the flavors of a Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
Tasting Notes
Decadent nuances of cocoa and citrus cascade through every thick sip. It all melts into gorgeous creme brûlée tones and whispers woody spice.

Very nice chocolate orange balance! Apparently I'm in the minority in not really liking BCBS Midnight Orange but I felt this found a better mix than that did. Very much enjoyed this one!

Smooth, creamy, orange and vanilla. Reminds me of an Orange Creamsicle.

One of the better orange stouts I had. Chocolate orange zest while chilled and The barrel and vanilla came through once it warmed up.

Orange flavored stout with a bit too much syrup influence

This is delicious. It smells and tastes like Spanish chocolate orange turron that we had around Christmas time. The orange would likely be a little much but the 12 months in bourbon barrels smooths this out. I have a second bottle and will age it for a few years to see how it mellows over time.

My first Moonraker Stout. Solid stout, flavors as advertised. Easy to tell this is a high quality made brew. However, my second orange chocolate flavored stout, and the flavor profile just doesn’t do it for me. My loss. 😔otherwise, good job Moonraker!

Great name and I love the art work. Pretty good beer. Unfortunately the orange way over powers the beer and all of the flavors. Still this is a decent beer. If you like orange this is for you.
