The crew at Adroit Theory call today’s Death of Civilization in Slow Motion III “the best IPA we’ve made in a while.”

That’s a bold statement! Especially considering that the last 15 Imperial IPAs we nabbed from this Virginia brewery scored 4+ on Tavour. Seriously. 15! How can they possibly STILL outdo themselves?

Then, we sampled the layers of tangy tangerine and tropical pineapple in this brew. We let our senses swim through its ultra soft-body, slurping up notes of ripe mango and bright, bouncing berry. We allowed sip after sip to linger on our tastebuds until their bright, fruity flavors faded into nuances of resinous pine and pithy grapefruit. 

And, we gotta admit — even when compared to such an incredible Hazy IPA catalog, this really might be the best IPA Adroit has made in a while. They took Citra, Motueka, Moutere, Azacca, and El Dorado Hops, added a touch of creamy lactose, and created a luscious, endlessly sippable work of 8% ABV art. 

If you were fortunate enough to try any of the Imperial juicebombs we managed to score from Adroit over the last couple years, you’re probably feeling just as skeptical as we were. Can this one REALLY be even better?
