About This Beer
The dark beer experts at Drake’s started with a rich, malty base brimming with cocoa notes. Then they aged it for over a year in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, soaking it all in whiskey caramel.
Years in Drake’s carefully controlled cellar has only deepened the complexity and decadent chocolate and vanilla nuances.
Tasting Notes
Currents of dark mocha cascade into bourbon-soaked creme brûlée on every sip. Flourishes of dark cherry cordial rise underneath with wisps of oak.
It’s almost like an opulent chocolate old fashioned in a bottle!

Fantastic taste. Spice dances on your tongue and packs a punch. Been lucky enough to enjoy this a few times and I would go back for more! Outstanding barrel aged beer

It’s everything you’d want from it. Honestly it’s probably the only beer I’ve had that I would say can compete with the stouts from Anchorage brewing.

A rich and sweet stout that utilizies the oak flavors to balance it out.

Good, strong barrel-aged stout. Hints of coffee flavors hanging out. Definitely picking up the barrel-aged notes, too.
