A Note on This Beer
Prairie’s Bomb is one of the highest rated Imperial Stout’s in the world with four different versions on BeerAdvocate’s Top 100 list. Now there’s a new 4-part Deconstructed Bomb Series that lets you pick apart this coffee, vanilla, chili pepper, and cacao nib-infused beer and see what makes this masterpiece tick!
Each of these 11.8% ABV beers focuses on a different one of the four powerful ingredients in Bomb. The Vanilla version features sweet ice cream and marshmallow notes of real vanilla beans. The Chili Pepper version revolves around the plummy mild spice of dried ancho chilis. The Cacao version centers on the woody character of cacao nibs. And the Coffee version showcases the peppery-sweet, roasted character of single origin Peruvian beans. Underneath each brew runs a smooth current of dark chocolate fudge.
You could easily plan a whole night of fun around these four beers. Like in haute cuisine, this deconstruction helps you enjoy the pure flavors of each key ingredient. You can also crack open several at once and try mixing them together to see if you can recreate that magic formula that makes Bomb so coveted. Or invent your own new blends. There’s the potential for 15 different flavorful combinations!
All the Bomb Deconstructed beers together score an average 4.14 on Beer Advocate, 4.10 on Untappd!
