About This Beer
To recreate the flavors of the classic confection, the brewers took their bourbon barrel aged brew and conditioned it on real carrots, coconut, pecans, and raisins. Then they gave it a silky finish with a dose of creamy vanilla!
Tasting Notes
Expect the same luscious body as previous Decoy releases, this time swimming with nutty flavors and nuances of dried fruit. Hints of whiskey should bob around on the edges, leading to a fudgy finish.

as a BBA it was really good. as a carrot cake it was not. I didn’t get any hints of carrot cake. if the beer was advertised as a BBA beer it would have been perfect.

As a carrot cake fanatic, if is unfortunate that I did not detect any of the flavorings which are associated with the beloved dessert. Nonetheless, it’s a silky and decadent BA stout, rich with fudge, vanilla, brown sugar, and a touch of warm cinnamon.

Big disappointment. Didn't get any carrot cake notes whatsoever. Drinkable, but lacked complexity. I'm a huge carrot cake fan, and I'm usually a fan of their beers, but this one was a miss.
