About This Beer
To craft this lauded sipper, the Fonta Flora crew took a decadent, double-mashed Imperial Stout, and let it mature in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels for 24 months, then Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for an additional 12 months.
Tasting Notes
Expect notes of candied dates and bittersweet chocolate to ripple overtop a backbone of roasty malts. Hints of molasses and honey should open up as it warms, leading to subtle whispers of vanilla oak and savory leather on the back end.

Viscous and boozy, but with a soothing warmth and soft honeyed vanilla touch. It does take on a tobacco and leather essence as it warms, but avoids becoming overly sweet.
