About This Beer
The Fonta Flora crew made this treat by racking a rich Imperial Stout into bourbon barrels to absorb all the intricate notes of spirit-soaked oak. Then they conditioned the brew on vanilla and house-toasted pistachios, giving every sip indulgent confectionary nuances.
Tasting Notes
Swirl the glass, and nutty brittle aromas waft out of the sweet, fudgy pour. The flavors follow, accentuating the base’s bittersweet mocha tones with flickers of pistachio cream and whiskey caramel. The belly warming finish is the only hint you’ll get that this smooth sipper is hiding a 14% ABV center.
