A Note on This Beer
This is it. The one. The 4.47 UT-Rated Russian Imperial Stout Adroit Theory touts as the biggest beer they’ve ever brewed.
It’s tough to top — 17% ABV beers don’t come around often!
This thick, pitch-black RIS pours like liquified night. And its flavors are reminiscent of the most decadent after hours dessert!
Aromas of roasted coffee and malt introduce every sip. A coating of dark chocolate dances pleasantly up front, with nuances of gooey molasses. Light notes of plum and candied raisin swim on the palate after the dessert-y start. The roasty and rich flavors fold together, finishing with a satisfying, belly-warming sensation.
Brewed in the tradition of Adroit Theory’s bold, high-ABV line of Stouts, Demons Surround Me pushes the limit of even these Virginian dark craft masters. One decadent drink, and all you’ll want to do is kick back with one of the biggest beers Adroit has ever crafted, and likely call it a night.
