About This Beer
The team at Revolution crafted this menace of a brew with planet-destroying proportions of specialty malts and flaked and malted oats. Then, they let it age and darken — like a youngling to a Sith Lord — in American oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
The barrel-aged Stout’s chocolatey profile is rich with deep flavors of coconut, caramel, and vanilla.

Chocolate, vanilla, and hints of oak. Good body and mellow for 14%. Pretty decent BA stout!

Perfection in it’s simplicity. The touch of anise on the end actually complements the other flavors.

This is in the top several stouts I've ever had!!
& it wasn't ruined with coffee!
If anything, it is a hair on the boozy end.
You can taste coconut, oatmeal, Caramel, chocolate, bourbon, oak. It's creamy, thick, dark and amazing! I only got 1 can bc of the price, but wish I had more.

heavy. good barrel.

Best base BA stout out of Chicago - better than that more famous brewery with a bird in it’s name. Leather, chocolate, tobacco, and a subtle hint of coffee. A little alcohol heat at the finish, but still goes down smooth. Well balanced.

so boozy, but it’s a good coffee stout that needs a little more seeetness

Exactly what I look for in a stout. Deep and rich, chocolatey and syrupy in taste. That bourbon barrel aged sharpness elevates
the brew to perfection.

classic bourbon barrel stout. can't go wrong
