When I think of a stout I want a beer that lingers so the taste stays with me and leaves me wanting more. This is a great example of an imperial stout. The dark malt roast gives this beer a long after taste that fits this bill.

16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, spotty brown head. Roasty aroma, chocolate. Taste is the same as the aroma, with a touch of cinnamon. Medium weight. ABV doesn't have a huge presence. Pretty simple presentation, tasty.

Typical R.I.S. Roast, bitter coffee.

Dark, roasty, and a little boozy on the first sip. But after the first sip the notes of coffee and dark chocolate come thru. A solid stout, perfect for a cold night. Update: just finished it. One of these delicious stouts is definitely enough. 13.7% is kicking in, so it's time for bed lol

Thick and rich, almost chewy. Not sweet but not very dry. A nice edge of hop bitterness along with strong char and chocolate flavors. Good with food or by itself.

Love it! Delicious and cool artwork on the label. I didn't think it tasted boozy considering the hefty 13.7% ABV. Although, I detected a slight underlying caramel, so that's how it presented.

Dangerous. This high ALC stout is very smooth with subtle tones of coffee and and chocolate. Like I said, dangerous.
