About This Beer
Mikerphone invited their friends at Dimensional Brewing into their barrel room to select the brews that would go into today’s stunner, and MAN, did they pick them!
The DB crew chose a blend of three incredible BA Stouts, each beginning with the brewery’s FoBAB and US Open Beer Championship-winning Sir Blends A-Lot base.
- The first aged in a single George Dickel bourbon barrel for 29 months, followed by 26 months in an Angel’s Envy bourbon barrel.
- The second spent 20 months slumbering in a Heaven Hill bourbon barrel, before maturing for an additional 25 months in a Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel.
- The final portion infused in a Journeyman Buggy Whip wheat whiskey barrel for 29 months before blending.
Tasting Notes
Expect rich ribbons of dark chocolate in every velvety sip. Look for sophisticated notes of woody tannins, oaky vanilla, and bourbon caramel to accentuate the cocoa tones. Hints of espresso and dark fruit should weave throughout, leading to a silky-smooth finish with little trace of the ample 15.5% ABV.
