About This Beer
DOOM is the 4th in Adroit Theory’s Metal series –– an exploratory series where the brewery crafts uncommon and/or classic beer styles outside of their typical wheelhouse. DOOM is an ESB, or Extra Special Bitter, a style marked by a balanced interplay between sweet malt with pronounced fruity esters and delicate hop bitterness.
Tasting Notes
Rich caramel and toffee malt notes flow into a bread and herb flavors with delicate spice and lush honey accents. Classic English Hop notes sweep through for a smooth, light Ale with a crisp, semi-dry finish.

It was smooth and balanced. Nothing as spectacular as I’ve come to expect of Adroit, but still an all-around good beer.

I'm kinda confused by this one, doesn't taste like much. Slightly fruity (apple) in the first sip, but then that was it.

crispy and refreshing. no gimmicks or off flavors. the hop profile was 👍 I rated highly as I’m a bit weary of all the brewers antics these days to get recognition that just goes wrong or is interesting but not a reachable beer, you get a fridge full of too many of those and…
