About This Beer
I’m not saying the dark beer masters at River North dabble in the occult. But I’m not NOT saying it. I mean, how else could you get a 19.17% ABV Porter to taste so smooth and delicious? It’s gotta be magic, right? I suppose it could be the rich grain bill, or the time spent luxuriating in both Colorado single malt and bourbon barrels, but sorcery just makes more sense to me.
Tasting Notes
Each sip brings on complex gorgeous toffee and plum notes, accentuating the nutty malty sweetness. And with such complex vanilla-oak and whiskey nuances lingering on the palate, shockingly obscuring that massive ABV, there just had to be a wizard or something involved in the brewing process.
