About This Beer
To craft this lauded sipper, the Fonta Flora crew took a decadent, double-mashed Imperial Stout and let it mature for 24 months hand selected bourbon barrels. They transferred yet again into more freshly dumped bourbon barrels for an additional 12 months of aging.
Tasting Notes
Expect notes of candied dates and bittersweet chocolate to ripple overtop a backbone of roasty malts. Hints of molasses and honey should open up as it warms, leading to subtle whispers of vanilla oak and savory leather on the back end.
