About This Beer
For this stunner, the New Image crew started by hand selecting some of their favorite Barrel Aged Stouts from their cellar, aged for a minimum of 24 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels. They blended them before resting the mix in Talnua single pot still rye whiskey barrels for an additional 12 months.
Tasting Notes
The results are beyond decadent, with thick cascades of dark chocolate, bourbon caramel, and almost nutty vanilla oak swirling through every quaff. Rich rye spice and woody char rise on the end, masking an enormous 17.94% ABV.

Good flavor. I like it. However it is to thick for my preference. it's like syrup. Not my style.

This was fantastic. It pours kind of headless, which had me nervous, but there’s so much barrel and booze flavor coursing through this thing that the texture is never in question.
