About This Beer
To craft it, the New Image crew started with a sumptuous blend of Stouts aged 24 to 36 months in rye whiskey and bourbon casks. Then they re-barreled the mix in freshly emptied Kentucky rye whiskey casks for an additional six months.
Tasting Notes
Thick cascades of dark chocolate, bourbon caramel, and near-nutty vanilla oak swirl through every quaff. Rich rye spice and woody char rise on the end, masking the enormous 18.35% ABV.
