About This Beer
t’s crafted with a blend of roasted and Belgian artisan malts, then wrapped up in layers of deliciousness with additions of dark Belgian candi sugar and vanilla beans. And it’s all smoothed out by an extended rest in 10 year bourbon and 6-year rye barrels!
Tasting Notes
Decadent caramel, molasses, and dark chocolate notes swirl throughout the sip. Crème brûlée undertones add to the opulence while subtle whispers of barrel char and oaky vanilla linger on the palate. And all that flavor keeps the body-warming 15.41% ABV remarkably quaffable.

a bit sweet but good lingering barrel on the tongue

seems thin for a 15%+ beer.

Perfection. So much booze and so much barrel and it all complements a delicious stout base. I don’t give out 5s very often, but this one is deserving.
4.0
Boozy and sweet.
Thinner due to Belgian style? Not rich or full bodied as advertised.
