About This Beer
The FOBAB-winning crew crafted it by first maturing a high gravity, single-malt Strong Ale base for two years in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Then they blended it and transferred the brew to another set of Kentucky bourbon barrels, where they aged for six more months.
Tasting Notes
Look forward to extra intricacy and barrel character from that second stint in spirit-soaked oak. Anticipate notes of crème caramel and cocoa backed by nuances of dark fruit, roasty malts, and a dash of woody char.
