About This Beer
Revolution’s award-winning brewers call this BA beauty “The absolute pinnacle of our Barleywine journey to date.”
The crew blended barrel-aged English-style Barleywines between one and three years old, then matured the mixture for another 18 months in Templeton Rye barrels.
Tasting Notes
All that glorious time in oak gave this malty brew rippling depths of flavor. Fruity notes of chocolate-covered raisins and cherries harmonize with woody vanilla and rye spice in each complex taste. Mellow caramel and date tones give this sipper a sultry sweetness that balances a surprisingly subtle 16.8% ABV.

Barrel-forward, butterscotch for days, layers of raisins, toffee, vanilla, cocoa, spice and coconut. Full-enough bodied, smooth, and somehow no heat from the 16.8% ABV

An absolute master class in BBA barleywine.

A stunningly perfect dessert sipper akin to the finest ports and meads: silky; robust esters and flavors of toffee, brandied fruits, brown sugar, vanilla, bourbon, and wood; and shockingly little trace of the gargantuan ABV.
