About This Beer
The patient crew at Transient started with an Imperial Stout aged 12 months in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. Then, they took that same brew and aged it additional 24 months in Elijah Craig 11 Year bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes
Cascades of rich dark chocolate, whiskey caramel, and oak-kissed creme brûlée course through each luxuriously thick quaff. Candied date and cocoa-coated raisin notes rise underneath with whispers of woody spice, the only suggestion of the bold 14% ABV.

Chocolate up front, dates, raisins, carmel finish that last a good amount of time. Decent amount of booze. I was honestly expecting a little more. But this is still good.
