About This Beer

To craft this show stopper, the Other Half crew started with a fluffy base layered with oats and lactose. Then they double dry hopped it with Mosaic for bright bursts of sunkissed succulence. It frequently ranks amongst the top NEIPAs in the world!

Tasting Notes

Every pillowy, nectarous sip is like a swig of succulent, peachy orange juice swirled with blueberry and mango. Wisps of grapefruit pith and pine carry underneath — leaving no sign of the 8.5% ABV.

Happy birthday, ‘Merica! edition. This is pure mosaic hop candy. Touch of pineyness to clean up the finish, but otherwise straightforward berry mosaic.

4.07/5 look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 4 Poured from a 16 ounce undated can into a snifter. Look- Pale gold, very hazy, frothy white head, average head retention, above average lacing. Smell- Ripe melon, clementine, pithy, peach, between high and medium strength of scent. Taste- Clementine, pithy, mildly astringent, medium strength of flavor. Feel- Between thin and medium body, average carbonation, moderately bitter, mildly silky, mild astringency, mildly prickly. Overall- Appealing pale gold appearance with average head retention and above average lacing. Bouquet was a pleasant mix of ripe melon, pithiness and clementine. Taste was dominated by a pithy clementine flavor that was good, but simple. Body was not as substantial as I had expected from a NEIPA. This beer had added lactose which I had expected to provide a much silkier character. Overall the beer was solid, but I had much higher expectations.
