A Note on This Beer

These days, people don’t seem to have much time for breakfast. They’re choosing instead to start the day with a snack, or even skip it altogether.

But, I still believe that breakfast can make a comeback. And brews like today’s Double Maple Imperial Morning Stout will make it happen.

The flavornauts at Octopi Brewing crafted this breakfast-style sipper with coffee beans and heaps of real maple syrup. Plus, they added a touch of lactose for silky smooth sipping.

It’s a chewy-thick behemoth that billows with some of the most mouthwatering flavors of morning mealtime! Huge notes of chocolate chip pancakes drenched in maple syrup dominate every sip. Then comes a swig of fresh-brewed coffee to wash it all down.

Needless to say — when you have a stash of Double Maple, breakfast starts looking pretty dang important. All that’s missing is a side of bacon to go with it!

Like maple syrup in a cold brew coffee- sweet with butter nuttiness. Would pair excellent with french toast!

Rich color, nice aroma, definitely has that imperial stout texture. Maple flavor is strong-which is great, and it's the first flavor to hit but it's followed by an intense bitterness that sticks around, making it not that enjoyable.

The maple has a bit of a fake (fenugreek) flavor. It’s potent. The base beer is a robust imperial stout with notes of dark chocolate and cherries and solid residual sweetness.
