According to Fair State Brewing Cooperative, today’s double dry-hopped NEIPA tastes like ”big tropical fruits” and ”whiffs of wafting marijuana.” 

With a description like THAT, I had to give it a try. After all, how often do you get to taste an IPA from a co-op brewery, where the fans get to choose what’s on tap? Even Men’s Journal ranks their sippers among the 50 Best Beers in the United States!

And, Double Strata does not disappoint. 

The aroma overflows with notes of ripe stone fruit and citrus from hand-selected Oregon Strata Hops. And yes, the taste is deliciously dank — it’s like slurping down freshly pressed grapefruit, apricot, passionfruit, and tangerine juice at a Cypress Hill concert! 

The lucky few who’ve tried it can’t wait to smoke — ahem, sip — another one of these luscious juicebombs:
