Oreos with milk is completely ruined for me thanks to the Dark Beer slingers down at Texas’ 903 Brewers.

I mean, this is a joyous activity for children of all ages! I can still remember sitting on the sofa with my grandpa as a kid, just hanging out and sharing rolls of cookies that we dipped in our milk.

But how can I go on dipping America’s favorite cookie in plain old milk now that I’ve tasted the Oreo cake-blasted Down With the PastryArchy (Cookies N’ Cream Cake Stout)?! I can’t!

This Stout is like liquified Oreos in a can — it’s loaded with the creamy sweetness of 300 lbs of real Cookies N’ Cream Cake that the brewers sourced from Mom’s Bakery down the street from the taproom!

These brewers-turned-mad-pastry-chefs didn’t stop at the cake though. They tossed in an additional 8,000 Oreo Cookies to complement the roasted and chocolate malts of the base beer. This Stout is loaded with the chocolatey goodness of an Oreo cookie, and with a 7.5% ABV, every sip showcases its cookie-crazy flavor.

But if you’re anything like me, you’re the kind of person that breaks apart the Oreos just to lick off the cream filling and toss the rest. And you’re gonna need to try the creamy-vanilla counterpart to the Stout, Down With the PastryArchy (Cookies N’ Cream Cake Cream Ale)!

This 5.3% ABV Cream Ale is crafted with 150 lbs of Cookies N’ Cream Cake, a helping of vanilla beans, and 4,000 Oreo Cookies, making it flow in soft waves of plush sweetness. It’s lighter than the Stout, and it carries a mellower sweetness that’s akin to the creamy filling of an Oreo Cookie.

Once you’ve tried the two side-by-side… Oh boy… You’re no longer drinking a Cream Ale and a Stout — you’re drinking an actual Oreo Cookie Cake!

So yeah, forget dipping Oreos in milk. In fact, forget dipping them in anything! And even though these beers are only available within 60 miles of the brewery, I’ll take some cookie-soaked beers over beer-soaked cookies any day!
