About This Beer
The crew crafted this balanced cuvée by blending seven of their legendary dark brews*, all aged in the finest bourbon, rum, rye, and wine barrels, French and American oak — and even Brazilian amburana wood.
Underneath, there’s barley, rye, and oats, plus a swirl of lactose to keep things creamy. And Revolution finished this decadent sipper on 2.5 lb of Dark Matter Coffee per barrel.
Tasting Notes
Revolution calls this sweetly roasty, layered breakfast blend “probably the most complex Deep Wood beer we’ve ever produced.”
Take a sip and you might think you’re washing down a short stack of maple-drenched waffles with a cup of java, but “almost all of this complexity is coming from the wood.”
