A Note on This Beer
Remember Riverdance? It was that theatrical show where dancers moved their feet so fast you couldn’t even see them, but kept their upper bodies eerily still.
Everyone on stage looked like a character from Scooby Doo running away from a ghost, and for some inexplicable reason it was the smash hit of 1995.
Now, if it was today’s EastRiverDance IIPA, I would have understood the excitement. This stuff is way better than regular Riverdance! Instead of Michael Flatley jackhammering his legs into the stage like he’s fixing potholes, it has bold flavors from heaps of Citra, Amarillo, and Nelson Sauvin Hops.
Instead of Celtic rhythms, it comes packed with ripe mango, bright passionfruit, dank melon, and tangy citrus flavors, like a tropical smoothie. And, with the bold 8.5% ABV, it might just make you feel like dancing.
You probably won’t be as good as Michael Flatley (whose feet were once insured for 57 million dollars) but you won’t care. You’ll be too busy wondering how the crew at Kings County Brewers Collective squeezed so much flavor out of those hops!
But, like the popularity of the original Riverdance, our little stash of EastRiverDance won’t last long. Get yours now, and let its juicy deliciousness wash over you like a lyrical Irish tune.
