About This Beer
Medianoche Imperial Stout is the stuff of legend. The kind of beer fans stand in lines for, and hunt down on internet forums, trading away their cellars to get a sip.
And among whiskey geeks, E.H. Taylor Bottled in Bond Bourbon commands the same sort of respect. So when the crew at WeldWerks told us they had taken their beloved dark brew and aged it in those revered spirit barrels for a whopping 27 months, we got pretty excited.

Something feels off. While I can squeak out some barrel and a modicum of warmth, the sour punch is off putting and makes me wonder if this was a bad batch.

The pour is nice. Very thick. Taste didn’t match, unfortunately. A little too bitter.
