About This Beer
I’m not sure what it means that a member of the undead is shredding on the can, but I DO know that Electric Spectre seriously slays on a hot day.
Brewed by KCBC in collaboration with Widowmaker, this 8.5% ABV Hazy screams with flavor. They blasted it with stacks of Citra, Galaxy, and Vic Secret, along with a layer of new varietal Vista Hops, for a DDH Double IPA with some serious reverb.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of white peach and alphonso mango form a syncopated sweet-fruit rhythm over lychee-like florals and candied pineapple. Honeydew and passionfruit supply this lush liquid with a dank undertone, while riffs of bright, bitter tangerine pith lead into a smooth finish.

Heckuva weekend, by golly. edition. This is hop forward dank that lands a touch over carbonated. As it settles out the white peach and melon/pineapple peeks through with tasty zip.

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 7/5/22 into a tulip glass.
Look- Between pale gold and straw, sudsy/frothy white head, very hazy, no visible particulate, extremely above average head retention, above average lacing.
Smell- Passionfruit, peach, pineapple, melon.
Taste- Pineapple, melon, peach, passionfruit at finish, mild astringency.
Feel- Medium body, slightly above average carbonation, creamy, high bitterness, mildly dry finish, mild astringency.
Overall- Great look with a very pleasant bouquet. Flavors were good, but some mild astringency which didn’t end up being a major detractor with the melon flavors.
