A Note on This Beer
Today’s DIPA is for the winter-lovin’ folks!
You know the type — the people who own way too many scarfs, wake up at 5am to hit the ski hill, or drive for hours just to hike in the snow.
Of course, it’s also for people who’ll relish a refreshing, delicious IPA once they reach the summit — or the trailhead.
For this peachy, citrusy hopjuice, Humble Forager sought out the stone fruity sweetness of Strata, the sticky, dank greenness of Nelson Sauvin, and the tropical tangerine potency of Citra Hops — all from sustainable growers.
Then, the crafty crew added extra doses of oats, winter wheat, and lactose for a heavenly silky body!
On the forefront, flavors of plush peach, and Bartlett pear delight the taste buds. After each smooth mouthful settles on the tongue, hints of zippy citrus, sticky kush, and tangy mango beg another sip.
Its 8% ABV warms the belly towards the end — yet another reason why this brew is for the winter warriors.
So, go ahead — toss a couple cans in your backpack. Your next frosty adventure awaits!
