Every year, Martin House releases this chocolatey, coffee-infused, Scotch Barrel-Aged, Imperial Stout to the delight of Texas craft fiends. And every year, it disappears before we can snag any.

But not this year! 

We finally managed to score a tiny supply of just 120 two-packs, each in its own badass collector’s box! That means you get two cans — one to drink, and one to… also drink. 

I suppose you can share it if you’re feeling really generous, but once you get a taste of this 4.23 UT-rated brew, you’ll probably want to keep it all to yourself. 

Just be sure to approach the 13% ABV sipper with caution. Take it from @Mark P. on Untappd who says, it’s “so smooth, almost like a chocolate shake! You really feel the ABV about 20 min after consuming.”

Yes you do, Mark. And since Erebus is so drinkable and delicious, it’s tough not to overdo it. 

Take a sip, and the first thing you’ll taste is dark chocolate from rich, dark malts. The flavor quickly tips towards caffè mocha as locally-roasted whole bean coffee takes center stage. On the finish, look for just a touch of oaky vanilla and smoky peat from the Scotch barrels. 

If you want to taste all that for yourself, you better act fast, because only 120 lucky Tavour members are going to get a shot at this 2019 release.
