A Note on This Beer
Proclamation Ale Co. says they crafted today’s Ethereous IPA with an enormous 6 lbs per barrel of “sexy hops.”
It’s actually a massive dry-hopped medley of Mosaic, Vic Secret, and Citra Hops, backed with three kinds of oats. But, with such a succulent combo of fruit juice and pine resin flavors wrapped in a thick, pillowy mouthfeel, we can’t blame the brewers for getting a little colorful with their description.
Grab a sip of this NEIPA hopbomb, and you’ll want to start spouting out some inspired flavor notes of your own: there’s dewy conifer, bursting mandarin orange, and drippy freshly-sliced cantaloupe. It’s like a farmers market in a forest!
Such a lush array of flavors will have you wondering why you haven’t heard of Proclamation’s IPAs before. This is only the second beer we’ve ever had from them on Tavour!
Turns out, it’s pretty tough to smuggle their hop-packed IPAs out of Rhode Island, seeing as they’re so beloved, over there. Thrillist even calls Proclamation the best brewery in the state!
