A Note on This Beer
Evangelion means “good news.”
That’s an extremely fitting name for Adroit Theory’s excellent series of hopbombs. But honestly, they could call these brews “Danger, Go Away” and I’d still suck them down like they were the last IPAs on earth.
In actuality, each Evangelion release vanishes so quickly (often in presales among Adroit’s local fans), that every stash we get here on Tavour is often the last opportunity for anyone else to grab them.
So, good news! Evangelion XVI (Ghost 927) is here, and it’s one insanely lush, 10% ABV Triple IPA.
It’s also the 16th release in the series, and Adroit went all out, dry-hopping it with four different kinds of hops. They built layer upon gushing layer of orange, grapefruit, and lime flavors from Citra, Mosaic, and Moutere Hops. Then, they backed it with undercurrents of berry, florals, and fresh pine from Simcoe and Sultana Hops.
Care for a sip of this juicy feast? Just remember — the next time you see me raving about Adroit’s Evangelion series, today’s particular treat will be long gone.
*Everyone from The Beer Travel Guide to the Colorado Sun named Adroit’s IPAs a “Must Try” at the 2019 Great American Beer Festival. The brewery wasn't even there to compete!
With Tavour, it's easy to beer it forward! Just head over to Tavour.com/gifts to send a gift box or gift card to the craft beer lover in your life. Cheers!
