About This Beer
To craft it, the OEC crew started with a classic British infusion mash using pale ale, Cara, wheat, roasted malts, and a helping of flaked oats to make it all soft and creamy. Then, the brew underwent a warm open fermentation using British yeast before finishing in a four-week stint in oak foeders.
Tasting Notes
Each sip teems with delicate notes of caramel and dates swirling over a bed of roasty malts. It culminates in a satisfying dry finish that’ll keep you coming back for another round. Just remember to mind the gap — errr, I mean mind the undetectable 8.5% ABV!

Aroma of chocolate and light roast. Taste follows aroma along with maltiness, oakiness, and a touch of bitterness.
