About This Beer
Horus head brewer, Kyle Harrop, created Exquisite Blend Six: Mike’s Modern Life with a mélange of three scrumptious English Barleywines. He aged the first in Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year bourbon barrels for 22 months, the second in Elijah Craig 21 year bourbon barrels for 20 months, and the final portion in George T. Stagg bourbon barrels for 29 whole months.
Tasting Notes
You can expect a flood of treacly tones in every sticky taste. Waves of caramel, brown sugar, and molasses ought to lead, supported by fig and raisin undercurrents. And it’ll all be wrapped up in plenty of woody vanilla and a whisper of barrel char.
