A Note on This Beer
You step outside to a pale gold sun and a clear sky. You smell wafts of pine and citrus on the crisp, gentle breeze. Don’t you wish you could bottle that moment?
Well, Fort George Brewery did! The very same brewery that has Wandrly Magazine drooling for making “America’s best IPA,” and earned the title of Best Brewpub of the Year from DiscoverOurCoast.com.
Hailing from Astoria, Oregon, Fort George knows the anticipation of summer as well as anyone who has survived yet another dark and misty PNW winter. So, they brewed a crisp, citrusy IPA that fast-forwards your tastebuds to the days you can live in flip flops.
Fanzine is a collaboration with Grains of Wrath, who won 2018 Very Small Brewery of the Year at the Washington Beer Awards. They were also awarded four gold medals in last year’s competition!
These two expert brewers have joined forces to create an IPA destined to inspire a fanzine of its own! Fans on Untappd like @LiquidAmber and @DanielK are raving, saying it’s “a fine IPA from two breweries that know their hops,” and, it “gets better every time I try it.”
In the spirit of classic, Pacific Northwest IPAs, Fanzine delivers its hops with a piney finish. Hints of citrus, white grapefruit, and orange will have you swearing you smell margaritas in the blender on a sunny afternoon.
Order now, and get your summer started early!
