About This Beer
To craft it, the 3 Sons crew aged a sumptuous base in Buffalo Trace and Buzzards Roost bourbon barrels for 25 months. Then they conditioned it on raw and toasted coconut and Colombian coffee from Argyle Coffee Roasters before giving it the s’mores treatment of graham cracker, marshmallow, and house roasted cacao nibs.
Tasting Notes
Imagine making a s’more with a Mounds bar and then dipping that in a roasty cup of java and you have a decent idea what’s in store. Velvety currents of cocoa-nut mocha cascade over nuances of vanilla cream and baking spice. Hints of whiskey caramel and oak whisper throughout, completely obscuring the 14.5% ABV.
