With a couple cans of this DBA Barleywine, you’ll feel every bit as suave and sophisticated as 007!
For February Drill Jarhead Delight, the team at Forgotten Road started with a rich Barleywine base before double barrel aging it for a total of 18 months. Then they conditioned it on coffee as dark as one of Daniel Craig’s tux coats plus silky vanilla and toasted coconut as bright as Connery’s.
Tasting Notes
Every sip should be as smooth and bold as Bond himself, with enormous espresso tones cascading into notes of dark chocolate mousse and whiskey-kissed creme brûlée. Let it warm, and you might even spy caramel macchiato and chewy date notes as they seep into a luxurious vanilla oak finish. Careful though, the 13.1% ABV is stealthier than any agent!
