About This Beer
To qualify as a “Fresh Hop” beer, brewers must get whole hop cones into the boil within a mere 24 hours of harvest!
It’s a mad dash. But well worth it! These seasonal sippers pack big, bright, herbaceous flavors — with only a fraction of the bitterness. Today’s Fresh Hop Pale Ale included!
Fremont’s Field To Ferment is an homage to the relationship between the brewery and the hop farmers they depend on. The Washington crew brewed it with loads of fresh Centennial and Simcoe Hops for a gorgeous blend of vibrant green and nectarous notes of the tropics.
Tasting Notes
Earthy, herbaceous nuances of light florals, soft pine, and a spritely grassiness are emblematic of the hops’ farmland origins. Notes of drippy apricot and lush melon add juicy accents. Currents of bright and succulent grapefruit unify the two.
