A Note on This Beer
Fort George’s ELEANOR Hazy IPA is uplifting Untappd users like @Abigail L., who describes it as “Hoppy, citrusy, then tropical. And then you’re in heaven.” It’s the freshest installment in the brewery’s highly-rated Fields of Green series, and UT fans christen it with a 4.28 score for its stellar pineapple and white grape juiciness.
In this 7.6% ABV hazebomb, all signs point to juice. Fort George extracts heavenly fruity flavors from a blend of new-school hops: floral lemongrass and white grape from Hallertau Blanc, candied lemon verbena from Meridian, apricot from Idaho 7, and a dose of papaya from Mosaic. The wheat and oat-infused malt bill keeps the body creamy and smooth, and the yeast bolsters every juicy hop note.
Even before the craft beer scene went crazy for hazy, Fort George’s 3-Way IPA collab caused a juicy ruckus in the Northwest, lighting up trade forums with hopheads frantically scavenging for a taste. In fact, the Fields of Green series causes fervor every new release with each installment earning above a 4.11 score on Untappd.
ELEANOR’s innovative hop combo even has the power to convert drinkers like @Tom P. to the hazy side: “Not a big east coast hazy guy but if Ft. George keeps this thing going it could change.”
