“I want ‘em real thick and juicy / So find that juicy double” — Sir Mix-a-Lot

Now, I’m pretty sure Mix-a-Lot wasn’t talking about beer when he penned that timeless lyric for his 1992 mega-hit, ‘Baby Got Back.’ He was talking about ...other stuff. But when I hear those words, my brain goes straight to IPA. 

And to track down today’s 8% ABV Hazy Find That Juicy Double IPA we had to trek all the way down to Los Angeles to visit tiny Indie Brewing. 

This is our very first beer from Indie, but these guys are blowing up on the SoCal scene. They’ve already got a higher brewery-rating on BA than Stone and Dogfish Head and multiple medals from the LA International Beer Competition! 

Today, you’ve got a rare chance to snag a sip of this Hazy without hopping a flight to LAX. And trust me, this Juicy Double keeps the summertime vibes rolling even better than old-school Hip Hop. Take a sip, and you might find yourself channeling Mix-a-Lot too: 

“I’m hooked and I can’t stop staring / Oh, baby, I wanna get witcha / And take your picture.” 

I DO wanna get with this brew! And take its picture! And, I dunno, post it on Instagram or something. Because this 4.11 UT-rated juicebomb is one of the brewery’s most popular beers, and it never leaves L.A! 

So scoring a can is an opportunity to try these guys before anyone outside of the City of Angels. And you DO want a sample of Indie, because they don’t mix a little, they mix a LOT. A lot of Hops that is.

Crack open the can, and revel in vast aromas of ripe mango and dank papaya from a PHAT dose of Azacca Hops. Huge additions of Mosaic Hops bring on juicy berry notes that bounce across the palate like an 808 kickdrum. On the finish, Comet Hops add pithy grapefruit flavors that are, as Mix-a-Lot would say, “a round thing in your face.”

What can I say? I like big Hops and I cannot lie. And Find That Juicy Double has ‘em.
