About This Beer
For Firestone Walker’s 26th Anniversary beer, the brewers didn’t hold back a thing. They blended six different bourbon and brandy barrel aged brews to create this incredibly complex Strong Ale.
If you’re a fan of this California crew, you’ve probably tried — or at least heard of — a few of the beers in this blend: Parabola, Bravo, Helldorado, Velvet Merkin, Whiskey Barrel Wheat Wine and Heavy Things.
Tasting Notes
Every sip unfolds in an intricate tapestry of oak-aged deliciousness. You’ll discover cascading ripples of melty milk chocolate, rich butterscotch, roasty coffee, and silky vanilla, all wrapped in flavors of top shelf bourbon.

The FW anniversary brews have been pretty spotty for me over the years, but this one was a standout. The stouts in the mix definitely took the lead and the final mix was awesome.

Creamy head, coffee aroma with maple sap, oak, and toasted marshmallow notes, butterscotch and milk chocolate tastes with coffee, grape, and vanilla notes, thin, and a warming Bourbon finish. I prefer this blend to previous years with less stouts.
