A Note on This Beer
The weather here in the Pacific Northwest gets pretty dreary this time of year. But, armed with our plaid, fuzzy flannels and delicious Winter Ales, we manage to stay cozy!
This winter might be the coziest yet — Seapine Brewing just released its Flannel Channel Winter Ale in cans!
This is excellent news, because — for the past decade of its existence — you could only get a sip of Seattle Magazine’s Brewery of the Year if you were bar-hopping in the city! Since COVID hit, the brewery started offering their beers in cans, which means now’s the time to try what you’ve been missing!
Touches of rich breadiness and a sprinkle of warm spices weave together in the subtly sweet, caramelly body. The brewers add Cascade Hops, coaxing out hints of pine and grapefruit. This sippable Amber Winter Ale goes back with more ease than slipping on your wool socks.
Grabbing a can of Flannel Channel means getting a taste of the PNW, without the rainy, wintery gloom — which is something we can definitely get behind.
Seapine is one of Eater’s Essential Seattle Breweries!
