The newest in this series features mandarin, oranges, tangerines, and acacia wood - The Flock Party 2016 Pale Ale.  A sneaky 6.5% ABV hides behind brilliant layers of citrus.  Acacia gives it a unique woody bitterness and cocktail-like complexity that fits right in with the style’s familiar intensely zesty flavors.

Three kinds of citrus infuse in the kettle before the beer is run over acacia wood chips and mandarin peels for two days.  Wheat, rye, and oats add a softening whole grain notes to the bright jammy tang of the tangerines. Summit, Palisade, and Super Galena Hops contribute a ultra-clean snap of bitterness that partners up nicely with the quenching eucalyptus-like essence of the acacia.
